First day of school 2024

The first day of school marks a significant milestone in the lives of students, parents, and educators alike. It is a day filled with excitement, anticipation, and a flurry of activities aimed at setting a positive tone for the academic year ahead.

Arrival and Welcome- in an Indian traditional style followed by two mascots escorting children. Teachers and staff members stood at the entrances, greeting each student with warm smiles and welcoming gestures, ensuring that everyone felt included and valued.

Morning Prayer- This was followed by a quality circle time. Classroom Activities- The initial hours were dedicated to ice-breaking activities designed to help students get to know each other. Games, storytelling, and creative exercises fostered an environment of camaraderie and collaboration.

Recess - Breakfast The school cafeteria served a special welcome-back menu, featuring students’ favourite dishes. The shared meals offered another chance for social interaction and community building.

Exploring sensory room, Yoga room, and activity centers. Conclusion and Dismissal As the day drew to a close, students gathered their belongings and prepared to head home. Each child was given a take-home handprint with a message-

Here are my hands with 10 fingers in all.
My first mark in school to hang on the wall.
As the years go by I will remember and say,

“My hands and I had a good first day.”
